Influence and Trust Are Important In Your MLM Business

Well, they really are if you are wanting to develop into a valid leader for your team, sponsor true leaders, and develop a tremendous residual cash flow with your business. Most acknowledged network marketers have a bunch of influence and trust, and they identify how to develop it. Unfortunately, most people, especially brand-new distributors don't have a heap of influence with their warm market as far as their business goes.

So, how can you develop and increase influence and trust with your "current" and "future" warm market? By "current," I mean your friends, family, and aquaintances who you know right now. And by "future," I mean the people you don't know right now (your cold market), but will soon bring into your warm market. Yes, that is how the top income earners find a lot of their leaders on their team - through people they bring into their warm market. Expanding your warm market is one of the most big-time daily action steps you must take in your business.

Now let's get back to how to increase and build influence and trust. First of all, let me stress the fact that it is natural that you will in all likelihood not be able to build up the influence and trust right away in regards to your business with a great deal of your "current" warm market of your friends and family. Why is that? Well, if you are like most of us, you were probably brought up with standards of going to school, getting good grades, and getting a good job until you can retire in the long-term. There's nothing wrong with that. But that is how your friends and family perceive you - as a person who is just like them.

Did you ever hear the saying, "If you want to get financial and time freedom, look what everybody around you is implementing - and do the exact opposite!"

So, as far as your "current" warm market goes, you may have to give it some time before you can get the kind of business influence you need from them. Once they see you have prosperity, you will have more credibility with them, and the influence and trust will come. BUT, make sure you do not wait until then to talk to your friends and family about your business, ok? You never really know who will be the next suitable person for you to work with.

Remember earlier when I wrote that the single most imperative action you need take in your business each day is to grow your warm market? That means to find people you don't know, and bring them into your warm market. You do that by building influence and trust with them, and this is how you can do that (you can also apply some of these to your current warm market as well to develop influence and trust):

Present and Give Value - Make sure you give first before you take. Too much MLMers only focus on the take while attempting to recruit peope into their business. Their exclusive mission is to enroll them into their businesses, and they don't take the time to learn more about the person first. Keep your spotlight on giving something of value that can assist them with something they have a passion for, or something that is imperative to them. Trust me, they will like you for it, and their respect for you will increase.

Develop Relationships - As you proceed to carry value, you will begin building stronger relationships. People choose to be near and work with people they like, know and trust.

Continue To Give More Value - and ask for not anything in return. They will love you even more for it. Make sure you are giving good value that can really aid them.

Be A Leader - Show them that you are a leader. Invite them to conference calls, webinars, or events. Those can be accomplished by others you know, or even better, yourself. Stay involved, and be transformed into a great promoter. You'll know the ones who are noteworthy, because they will begin to become involved too.

Do those things above, and you'll quickly start building and developing influence and trust with your people.
